Dr. Fabrizio Tucciarone

Veterinary Surgeon

DVM MRCVS GPcert(SAM) MSc PgCert(Endo) CertAVP

Fabrizio graduated from the Veterinary University of Naples (Federico II, Italy) in 2014, before pursuing advanced training in small-animal internal medicine and diagnostic imaging. After completing dedicated ultrasound training for dogs and cats with UNISVET and achieving the ISVPS GPCert(SAM) in Small Animal Medicine, he obtained a Level II Master’s Degree (MSc) in Specialised Ultrasound in Small Animal Veterinary Medicine from the University of Bologna. Fabrizio later expanded his skills further with a PgCert in Veterinary Professional Studies from the University of Liverpool, the RCVS CertAVP, and a GpCert in Small Animal Endoscopy and Endosurgery from ISVPS in Swindon. In 2025, he completed a PgCert in Endoscopy and Endosurgery with Harper Adams University, consolidating his interest in minimally invasive diagnostics and interventions.

Fabrizio has worked as an Internal Medicine Referral clinician in a veterinary referral hospital in Northampton, managing complex canine and feline cases across multiple disciplines. Before relocating to the UK, he worked as a freelance sonographer and internal medicine veterinarian in northeast Italy and founded Trentovet Veterinary Clinic in Trento, where he led the internal medicine department. Earlier in his career, he also completed a fellowship at East Bay Veterinary Specialists and Emergency in Walnut Creek, USA, gaining valuable experience in a high-level multidisciplinary environment.

He has a strong interest in evidence-based medicine and diagnostics, is also involved in postgraduate education and CPD delivery, and has served as a speaker and practical instructor for MSK Ultrasound Practical Day courses in London in 2023 and 2024. He particularly enjoys integrating advanced ultrasound, endoscopy and minimally invasive techniques into everyday clinical practice to improve patient outcomes and provide pragmatic, referral-level support to first-opinion colleagues.
