Matthew qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) in 2021 from Solihull College. During his training, he spent three years at a practice in Milton Keynes, followed by nearly four years at a busy small animal practice in Northampton, gaining valuable experience across all areas of veterinary nursing.
He has a strong interest in anaesthesia, surgical nursing and is currently undertaking a Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Nursing (Anaesthesia) at Harper Adams University; to further develop his knowledge. In 2025, Matthew joined AVS with to become a referral nurse, continuing to build on his clinical skills particularly in his key areas of interest.
Outside of work, Matthew enjoys going to the theatre, especially musicals, as well as travelling and spending time with friends. At home, he looks after his cat and horse.
