My Dog “Hero” had a diagnosis of elbow dysplasia; it cannot be cured but to alleviate symptoms I opted for surgery. Everything was very clear and the team at AVS communicated very well from start to finish. My dog had an arthroscopy and an osteotomy. He has made a great recovery and the surgery has been effective in helping a dog that was going lame. Hero has additional hydrotherapy which was recommended and has helped with his recovery.
All the procedures were explained and all the discharge summaries were very clear and what steps were to be taken in my dogs recovery.
I was hoping for a good result and luckily that has happened. Hero has a much better quality of life and thats thanks to Gareth Arthurs and his team. I would recommend them as a good option for surgery and I would definitely use them again if Hero needs further treatment in the future.
