We were referred to Arthurs Veterinary Specialists because our little dog Jasper was lame on his back leg. Vets 4 Pets said he had an issue with his knee. The X-rays and consultation with them was around £1200!
We took him along to see Arthurs Veterniary Specialists and he was diagnosed with a ruptured cruciate ligament straight away. They kept him in and operated on him that day.
The entire team were brilliant. It’s so heartbreaking to see your dog in pain, but Gareth and the staff were so reassuring. He took the time to go through exactly what the issue was and what they would need to do to get him back to normal.
They were so good with Jasper and when we got him back, there was plenty of really good aftercare. I emailed a couple of photos of the healing wound just to check it was ok and Gareth responded that day with a great email, reassuring us that everything was fine.
We didn’t have loads of unnecessary stuff lumped in, with upselling etc. It was a world apart from the big corporate vets.
The entire experience is always going to be a bit upsetting but I can honestly say that the service we got here was second to none.
