RVN since 2022 with experience in small animal and exotic practice; joined AVS in 2024 to develop her skills in orthopaedic referral work.
Freya studied at Moreton Morrell College and qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2022.
She worked in a small animal mixed practice for 3 years before moving to a different small animal practice that also saw a wide range of exotic animals — from parrots to crocodiles. Freya joined Arthurs Veterinary Specialists in 2024 to develop her skills and knowledge in orthopaedic referral work, and is really enjoying every aspect of the role.
Alongside orthopaedic referral nursing, Freya is interested in inpatient care and in exotic and zoo animals. Just after qualifying, she spent two weeks volunteering at a game reserve in South Africa, where she was lucky enough to monitor a rhino under sedation.
In her own time, Freya enjoys reading, shopping with friends and exploring new places.
